In the Garden
of the
Wild Beasts
This collection is a fantasy wonderland where nature and the human sensory experience run parallel paths. Originally inspired by psychedelic medicine and mania, the collection begins with busy florals illustrated in obsessively realistic details that become increasingly abstract, ending with simple and familiar shapes like polka dots and stripes. It is my interpretation of the nervous euphoria one feels when experiencing ego death.
