Why we use Hemp for our sustainable fine art prints

Hemp paper

Hemp has been cultivated throughout the world for more than 6,000 years. Its end uses are nearly limitless. Hemp fibers can be used to make everything from clothing to paper.

We use fine art paper made from 25% hemp fiber because it's more sustainable than wood pulp alternatives. Hemp grows faster than trees and can be cultivated without the use of harsh chemicals such as pesticides. The best part is that it can be recycled up to 7x in its lifetime of use. That's more than double the rate of wood pulp based papers.

Our sustainable fine art prints are not only printed on hemp, but also are made of 75% post-consumer waste.

Paper made from post-consumer waste has naturally occurring discolorations. We love the character this gives to our art prints and we hope you will, too.
